Developing Skills and Awareness

What we offer:

At SURGENT, we don't try to be all things to all companies. This allows us to concentrate on providing our clients with superior service and only the best service. Our focused advantage helps our clients grow their businesses.

We can customize training for your group, or provide standard training based on industry best practices for the size and structure of your business. Common training provided by Surgent includes:

  • Quality Manager Boot-Camp (Kick-Start)

  • Management System Effectiveness Training

  • Internal Auditor Skills Training

  • Management Responsibility / Risk & Opportunity Overview Training

  • Implementing an Effective Corrective Action System

  • Creating Continuous Improvement Program for Employee Buy-In

SKILLS: We understand that time is money.  Our job is to save our clients’ time by helping them obtain and develop the skills necessary to efficiency and effectively manage their business quality system. Without the right skills, the organization’s business quality system will likely become less efficient and less effective over time. For mature systems, ensuring those individuals responsible for its maintenance receive updated training is also recommended periodically as systems and technology changes.

AWARENESS:  “Why are we doing this?” If that question is being asked, then the benefits of having an efficient and effective business quality system for your organization has not been completely explained. Promoting awareness is the key to ensuring your business quality system is treated with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness throughout your organization.

& BUY-IN:  Having the right Skills and creating Awareness are prerequisites to creating Buy-In throughout your organization. Tying performance to incentives (tangible or in-tangible) and ensuring buy-in from everyone from the front office to the production floor is what companies strive for. As the ebb and flow of business occurs, having Buy-in throughout your organization creates a self-propelled, mature business quality system.

Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected. - Steve Jobs
